Ladies 1sts Report 2007/2008

The Ladies 1sts had a very successful season this year finishing safely in Division 4 after being promoted last season.   They beat Glenanne in Division 3 to put them in the Quarter Final of the Leinster Cup but were unfortunately beaten 1 0 by a very strong Pembroke  side also from Division 3.  For the first time ever Weston Ladies played in the Irish Junior Cup but were unfortunately beaten by a controversial goal 2 1 against Clontarf who had just come down from Division 1.

Thanks to Jon Long and Enda Tucker for all their hard work, dedication and commitment all season.
