Weston Junior Hockey Club 2009/2010

We had a very successful season last year in the Junior Section with the U16’s achieving great results in all their matches. We are also very proud of our U14’s, U12’s, U10’s and U8’s who are progressing extremely well. There were many successful hockey blitz days during the season with eg. Three Rock Rovers, Suttonians and Glenanne Hockey Clubs.

It is our intention this year to expand the Junior Section of the Club and to promote hockey further for children at local level.

We also intend to engage the services of a professional Coach for our new 2009/2010 hockey season.

Our committee members this year are Barbara Ryan, Margaret Lowry-Hayes, Liona O’Toole, Emmet Hutchin and myself, Alec Birnie.

We look forward to a busy Junior Hockey Season which will start on 13 September 2009. So if you are interested to experience playing hockey on what is a ‘state of the art’ floodlit astroturf hockey pitch and with a real family club please contact using above details.
