Ladies 1st - Captain - Linda Jarvis.     Middle 'B'

The 1st team continued in Middle 'B' this year and started the season on a winning note.   By the end of the season they had won 4 matches, drawn 7 and lost 3 conceding only 5 goals and so will finish approximately middle of their division and will remain there next year.

After gaining a bye into the second round of the cup, they were unfortunate to be beaten 2-0 by a very strong Our Lady's team.

 

Ladies 2nd - Captain - Daphne Boland.

The 2nd team had another good season and finished winning 6 matches, losing 1 and drawing 6 conceding only 1 goal.   Unfortunately they look like missing out on promotion, finishing approximately third or fourth.

The team came up against Malahide in the first round of the cup and beat them 6-0 but went down to Loreto 1-0 (aet) in the second round.

 

The Ladies section welcome back - Leone Kelly, Nicola Kelly and Karin Bartlett and, also,, welcome new members - Mary Nock, Carol Harrison, Susan Murphy, Anna Curry and Carol Barron.

 

 

 

 

Mens 1st - Captain - Shane O'Hare ; Manager - Brendan O'Hare.   Div. 3

The team at time of writing this report has played 14 matches - won 11 drawn 2 and lost 1 and are 1 point behind behind Naas at the top of the division.   They stand an excellent chance at this stage of returning to Div. 2. Their 4 remaining matches are against Naas (h), Dublin Univ (a), DCU (a) and RCSI (h).

The team reached the final of the Intermediate Cup but, unfortunately, were beaten 1-0 by Marillac.

 

Mens 2nd - Captain - Tom Harris.  Div 8

The 2nd team are at present in the bottom 4 of their division.   Their cause was not helped in several of their matches by having to start these matches with less than 11 players on the pitch.   They have played 17 matches, winning 3, drawing 6 and      losing 8.

In the Junior Cup, Aer Lingus 4 were beaten 5-2 in the 1st round but we were beaten 4-0 by Pembroke 6 in the 2nd round.

 

Mens 3rd  - Captain - Padraic Larkin with Willie Boland and Ivan Walpole.     Div 11.

Up to Christmas the 3rd's had been doing poorly and were lying bottom of their division.   Since Christmas and, with the return of Dick Heywood-Jones, the team have done exceptionally well and are unbeaten in 1995.   They have climbed up to 5th from the bottom in that time.   So far they have played 18 matches, winning 6, drawing 5 and losing 7.

In the Minor Cup they were beaten 2-0 by Glenanne 5.
